NAMS 3 Surreal Recap

I just returned from a 5 day trip to the Niche Affiliate Marketing System workshop (aka: NAMS). This was my second time to go to NAMS and it just keeps getting better and better. This was only the third NAMS event to be held, and I can see the growth and changes even from the second one, which I also attended.

Some of the biggest names in internet and affiliate marketing were speaking at this event:

  • Lynn Terry
  • Willie Crawford
  • Jeff Herring
  • Maritza Parra
  • Kathleen Gage
  • Bob “The Teacher” Jenkins
  • Nicole Dean
  • ….. and many more!

The information presented was excellent, the entire event was fun and the best part: no ‘guru attitudes’. Every speaker there was down-to-earth and approachable. You could have lunch with them, chat with them and ‘hang out’. All the speakers gave 110% during their presentations and after.

If you are struggling to get going in this whole internet marketing thing, then I highly recommend NAMS. It’s not just a sit and listen to folks talk type atmosphere, this is a real hands-on workshop where you actually are given time, and help, to implement what is being taught. The goal is for you to take action on what you learn, and doing so in a workshop atmosphere gives you the live in-person help you need to do that.

This time, I got to be an aide at NAMS. It was my honor to go there to help others. Of course I don’t think David Perdew quite realized that ‘The Quiet One’ isn’t really quiet and handing me a mic and expecting me to be quiet was TOUGH!  :P

I thoroughly enjoyed myself and look forward to NAMS4 in August 2010.

There are so many stories I could tell…. but instead I’ll share with you links to three NAMS3 recaps I think you’ll enjoy:

Bob ‘The Teacher’ Jenkins has posted video sharing the amazingly inspirational story and strategy of the NAMS contest winner who won over $20,000 in cash and prizes.

Lynn Terry has a great post about NAMS on her blog. I’m a member of Lynn’s Elite group and of the 180 people at NAMS, over 70 were just from Lynn’s Elite group!! That tells you how awesome she is, and how wonderful her Elite group is.

Dan Reinhold is gathering all the funny events from NAMS3 on his blog. Love these stories!! LOL

Surprisingly, I took very few pictures this time. I was so busy chatting with everyone, I kept forgetting to take out my camera. There’s always NAMS4.

To YOUR Success,

Traci Knoppe

P.S. Don’t forget to register for NAMS4 in August. It’s just been two days since I got back from NAMS3, and over 40 tickets have already been purchased for NAMS3. Now that speaks volumes about the value of NAMS.

Internet Marketing Training Workshops LIVE!

I am excited to announce – I’m getting out of the house; not once, but TWICE in the next month. Woot! :P

Okay, so I’m kidding (a little). Working from home means I’m well… home a lot. But I do get out some, and next week is NAMS3. I absolutely can not wait to go back to NAMS and see some friends I met last time, and meet some new ones.

NAMS

NAMS, if you will recall from my blog posts from August 2009, is the Niche Affiliate Marketing System Workshop. It’s a live hands-on workshop training event put on by David Perdew and provides training from some of the top internet and affiliate  marketers in the business. Due to some last minute cancellations, this once completely sold out event has just a few seats now available. If it’s once again sold out when  you click this link, then be sure to grab the NAMS 4 U flash drive. Excellent info and well worth getting.

If you are going to NAMS, be sure to look me up, because I’ll be there and would love to meet you in person.

As if traveling to Atlanta, Georgia wasn’t excitement enough for this home-body, I will also be traveling to SIMPLE in Wilmington, North Carolina at the end of February.

SIMPLE

SIMPLE is an event put on by Bob “The Teacher” Jenkins and stands for School for Information Marketing Live Event. I am very excited to attend this event. Bob has an awesome line-up of speakers and he’s promising over the 3 day event to share his system for earning $10k per month. I highly respect Bob and know that he’s going to tell us like it is.

Tickets are still available for SIMPLE. I would love to meet you in person in Wilmington at the SIMPLE event!!

Whew! With all this traveling I’ll be doing, better go practice my packing. :)

To YOUR Success,

Traci Knoppe

P.S. Register for NAMS and Register for SIMPLE.

P.P.S. Are you going to either of these events? Comment below and let me know if you’ll be there and I’ll be sure to connect with you.

NAMS Workshop Profile: Willie Crawford

For months prior to attending the Niche Affiliate Marketing (NAMS) Workshop in Atlanta, Georgia; I was reading over the speakers list learning about the speakers, what they did and trying to get some insight into their personalities and all that. I’m a ‘people person’, and I love to watch and observe people and their behaviors. You can learn a lot about people in Willie Crawford and Traci Knoppe at NAMS2general, but more specifically about individuals.

Immediately I knew that I wanted to meet Willie Crawford. I so desperately wanted to attend his 50th birthday bash earlier this year, but could not make it. So this was my chance to finally meet Willie…. and I did!

First Impressions

Willie, surprisingly to me,  is quiet and reserved. I guess I’m used to most internet marketers who, online anyway, appear to be loud and full of themselves… and  honestly, I never got that impression with Willie. I heard him speak in one of the pre-NAMS webinars. I instantly sensed that he was different. I was right. :)

In person, he was friendly, helpful and generous to share his knowledge. I introduced myself to him the very first day; and say Hi to him daily after that – but did not really sit and talk with him any until Sunday afternoon. Why? In part, because I was nervous! Yes, the ‘Quiet One’ does get a little nervous sometimes, and how I am online, is exactly how I am in person – I’m not quiet at all.  I didn’t want to scare the man, so I waited until I felt the moment was right for us to chat.

The time came after he spoke in the workshop room I was in and he shared very good information about Joint Venture partners.  During one session he shared a tip about sending out cards; I shared a short testimonial of how someone online had sent such a card to my husband and I when my mother-in-law had a stroke.  We were moved to tears when we received that card, my in-laws were as well when we gave it to them.

Just sharing the story I was tearing up and I could see Willie getting emotional too.  At that moment, I knew Willie truly cared about people.  We also chatted briefly after the workshop – chit chat really about internet connections and I very briefly mentioned what it is that I do.  He was still kind and attentive, again – letting me know he is the ‘real deal’ and not just there for what he could get out of it. (BTW: none of the NAMS speakers are paid to be there, they volunteer their time.)

It’s reported that Willie makes mega bucks; but when I see someone who is without a doubt considered a ‘guru’ standing up there getting emotional and truly caring – I knew my impressions were right about him. He’s good people!

Willie Crawford – a Man of Integrity

I am very selective about who I align myself with – I just am. I want to align myself with people of integrity. That’s one reason why I chose to go to NAMS – every one of the speakers, I believe, has that integrity. Integrity to me means people are more important than money. It’s fine to earn money – don’t get me wrong; but if someone is willing to stomp all over the little guy in order to claw their way to the top of some ‘Guru Mountain’… I want nothing to do with them, or what they teach.

Willie Crawford is a man of integrity and a keen business sense. The fact that he wrote a cookbook just astounds and fascinates me! His wife is equally as lovely a person.

If you have not yet met Willie Crawford – or are not familiar with his work,  get on his mailing list at  WillieCrawford.com.  <- That is not an affiliate link – I’m just highly recommending you connect with Willie. What you learn from him will do great things for your business.

To YOUR Success,

Traci Knoppe

P.S. Here is a link to Willie’s Soul Food Recipes cooking site. I bought this cookbook myself – even though I don’t enjoy cooking, if Willie wrote it, I’m buying it. I’m sure he will have as much to teach me about cooking, as he does in Internet Marketing.

P.P.S. Why not plan to attend the next NAMS Workshop, January 29-31, 2010 in Atlanta, Georgia. If you order your ticket before August 31, 2009, you get in at a really great price!
