In light of the new FTC ruling that’s about to be handed down to all bloggers, internet and affiliate marketers; I thought I should formally post an earnings disclosure for this site.

As I’m sure my readers are aware, I teach blogging, social media and internet and affiliate marketing. In the course of my teaching others, I also recommend products and resources where I may earn a commission if someone purchases through my affiliate link. This is called: affiliate marketing.

Also, when I recommend products that I myself have created (i.e. Beginner to Blogger in 4 Weeks), I make money when someone buys my products. This is called: internet marketing.

The FTC ruling is really about online marketers making outlandish claims of earnings when the products they are recommending or selling are used. The FTC is wanting typical results, not atypical.

I have never stated on this blog, or anywhere, that you can earn a million dollars in your pink bathrobe working from home. While this is certainly possible, most folks will not typically achieve that level of success, due more to their lack of action than the product or resources’ poor information.

All that said, I do make money from content posted on this blog. I will provide you my honest personal opinion on the products and resources I recommend; but I will not promise you that your results will be typical.
