I’m on Pinterest, and honestly, I love it. It’s like my own corkboard or scrapbook of ideas. I find hair styles, recipes, decorating ideas, color concepts for my home, web site design and so much more.

So while I do a lot on Pinterest that is for my own personal interest, yes – you can also use the massive traffic and shareability of Pinterest to drive traffic to your site and make sales too. Genius!

Dan and Darren Crawford have created a 30 minute how-to video tutorial called Pinning for Profits with Pinterest showing you what Pinterest is and how to use it. I have reviewed this video tutorial myself and it’s well worth getting so you can understand how to use this amazing new social site and how it can improve your SEO and sales; all while having fun.

Check it out and let me know what you think.

To YOUR Success,

Testimonials on your site and earnings disclaimers are only part of what the FTC is watching: they are also keeping an eye on your blog contests and giveaways on your Facebook page and profile.

I think every single Facebook or blog contest or giveaway I’ve ever participated in, violated at least one, if not all, of the rules. Just read Facebook’s promotion guidelines and you’ll see what I mean.

Before you do another promotion, giveaway or contest – please do your homework. You do not want your blog shut down, fine incurred or worse – be sent to jail! All because you didn’t follow the rules.

Just because everyone else is doing it this way isn’t going to cut it when the FTC comes a callin’.
