Back in July, I blogged about how Facebook was using our profile pictures in sidebar ads on the site. I provided instructions on how to opt-out of such ads being displayed. As a result of that blog post, FOXNews in New York interviewed me on this subject. Yesterday, Facebook made some changes in what information you receive on your wall by default, and now gives you the option of a News Feed and a Live Feed.

If you’re like many, you log in and just expect to see the latest status updates from friends on your wall. Many were surprised to see what appeared to be ‘old news’ on their wall. It took me a minute to see the Live Feed and News Feed links at the top of the page. Read the rest of this entry
