Flora - if you want to share links with readers on your own blog - then do so. The internet, including blogs, are for sharing. It's often how you present the information to your readers that makes a difference. If your post is written more like an advertisement, than a personal conversation where you are recommending something to a friend, folks might get upset - or at least won't respond by clicking the link. Also, offer/recommend only products/services that would be of interest to your readers. If your blog is on crochet - don't offer them a special deal on golf. ;) Keep it reader relevant.

Hi! Thanks for all the great tips. I have a question. What is the policy on putting links of other websites on a person's blog? I read several blog entries that were justifying their act of putting links in their post, because the readers accused them of selling out to advertising. Me, for example would like to have a blog where I can say: I lived the beluga caviar I bought on www.1caviar.com . I mean, it is personal information I have the right to share with potential readers, don't I? Do you possible have some tips on this?
