		<description>Thanks so much for this clear and simple upgrade procedure.

In my mind I&#039;d built the manual upgrade up into a gargantuan task but in reality it was quite straight forward.  My fear is always that the back-up files are so small whilst the blog content and images are so big. I&#039;m never sure I&#039;ve backed things up completely....so far I&#039;ve never had to check!  

My &#039;fail safe&#039; method is; in the FTP simply rename my existing blog &#039;blogBACKUP&#039; and do a fresh install of wordpress named &#039;blog&#039; and then move the relevant files across.  

That way it very easy to revert back if anything goes wrong.

I&#039;m not sure it&#039;s a recommended method but it makes me feel safe!
