PeopleBrowsr.com: Social Media Broadcasting, on Steriods

I love Twitter. If you check out my past articles, you’ll see that I’m a huge fan of TweetDeck; but as a social media specialist, and yes – a tech geek; I am always trying out new tools and applications. For me it’s research that could help my social media coaching clients (or myself), and sometimes I end up using these applications or tools myself – sometimes not.

About a month or more ago, I discovered a web-based application called People Browsr (PB) and instantly liked it’s featured rich capabilities; but almost as instantly did not like how it bogged down my system. After a week or so of attempting to use it and check out all its features, I abandoned the idea of it ever being my tool of choice, or recommendation, because of its drain on my system. I mentioned as much in a casual twitter conversation recently, and the kind folks at PeopleBrowsr sent me this DM:

PeopleBrowsr Just saw your tweet about resource hog = Wanted to let you know we loaded up 0.998 yesterday – it has a number of mem improvements and a campaign builder. Let us know if we can do anything for you Cheers

Their community managers are hard at work staying on top of their customer service – and I like that! So I logged in to give People Browsr another try. I’m glad I did! Below is a brief introduction into what People Browsr offers. I’ll have more videos soon, there’s just too much packed into this application to cover it in just one video.

In short: PeopleBrowsr.com allows you to post to Twitter, Facebook, FriendFeed, Ping.fm and/or Indenti.ca all at once via People Browsr. Also, you can receive information from several other of your social networking sites via PB as well, such as Photobucket, Plaxo, RSS feeds, Flickr, YouTube and many more! As you can see – this tool does a lot!

Watch this introduction video below; and please let me know what you think of PeopleBrowsr.com

Thanks for the heads up Traci ! I was using TweetDeck but will shift to PeopleBrowsr. What sold me on it was the capability of following a conversation in Twitter. That is great! Also, customization capabilities makes it more “user friendly” too. And much more I am convinced they have down their alley. Eager to learn all about it. Awesome.

Will tweet your blog post :-)

Have a great day and all the very best !
    Janice
