Today, TweetDeck announced a beta version where you can post status updates to Facebook via Twitter using TweetDeck – and, you can now receive your Facebook friends’ status updates into your TweetDeck in their very own column. You can then email or tweet your friends’ status updates right from TweetDeck. There is also an indicator in TweetDeck to let you know if your friend is currently online at Facebook, should you wish to log into Facebook and chat with them.
This new TweetDeck also gives you the option to send your tweets/status updates done via TweetDeck to Twitter, Facebook or both.
This new version is still in beta, so will not auto update just yet. You can download this beta version at the TweetDeck blog.

Thanks for posting this. What a great addition to an already wonderful App.
I dont like the automatic twitter to facebook because it is just too much sometimes. But if you could choose. I would Love that!
Now if we can send it to our Fan page. That would make it pefect
Keeping up with social media can be too much at times, can’t it? This is still in beta Lauren, so go post your thoughts on the TweetDeck blog and let them know your suggestions. Or send them a tweet @TweetDeck, I’ve found them to be very responsive.
But you do have the option whether or not to send any tweet to Facebook; but agree, one should have the option whether you even enter in Facebook information into TweetDeck at all. Some may not want to, and I can understand that.
I like the Fan page idea too! Go tell them Lauren.
Hi Traci,
I just love Tweetdeck, hopefully they will integrate more networks into the app. I am not a great fan of FaceBook because of the recent privacy issues and very rarely go in. In fact i have all but turned off all the applications apart from my twitter, friendfeed and delicious feeds, along with my RSS feeds. Tweetdeck saves you a lot of time and its great for starting conversations and meeting new potential followers through the TwitScope interface.
Thanks for the read, I will probably hold back on the beta version and wait for it to update.
Hi Bill
I’ve been pretty much the same with Facebook; but I’m trying to visit a bit more, use the new TweetDeck to send updates through to Facebook. It’s working! LOL I agree, I would love to see TweetDeck integrate more services, that would be wonderful.
The beta version is doing well for me – no bugs or anything. So far so good.
Hi Traci,
I did take your suggestion and sent Tweetdeck and email.
Lauren
