In my earlier video, I showed you how to use the TweetDeck Group function to sort the tweets of your selected followers into a Group. But did you know there is a quick way to add new users to an existing group?
The image below (click to view full size images in a new window) shows three visible columns in my TweetDeck; notice under the each Tweet there is a [+] and when you mouseover that, it says to add [username] to a group – you want to click that.
After clicking the [+] you will then see all the Groups you currently have setup that are available to add that user to, tic the box for the Group you want, and then click the X in the upper right corner to save those settings and close the window.
Now, whenever that person tweets, their tweets will automagically filter a copy into the Group you assigned them, making it very easy to track the tweets of select followers.
Note: a copy of their tweet will also appear in your All Friends column.
