I know, everyone and their brother are blogging their new year resolutions – well how could I resist joining in.
2009 was an awesome year for me personally and professionally. I exceeded my goals, despite a year of immense change for our family.
- In January my husband left his job at Chrysler and has since been a full-time help for me, not only helping homeschool our children, but with other domestic things as well. In addition to all that, he’s now working with me in my business: YourWebTechTeam.com
- April brought us our second grandchild, Jude. Who was also born on his daddy’s birthday (my son, Tom)
- June was the launch of my Beginner to Blogger in 4 Weeks blogging course. The reviews and feedback have been overwhelmingly good and positive and sales continue to come in monthly. That course has been a huge help to many.
- August was when I got to attend NAMS in Altanta, Georgia. What an awesome time meeting so many folks I’d been chatting with online and knew from Lynn Terry’s Elite Mastermind group.
- September was the launch of my outsourcing company, which is essentially a restructured business model of my web design services, combined with my WordPress, social media and all around technical skills to provide outsourcing services to business owners. This simple change in my business model & taking action, has been I believe the best business decision I have made to date. The need for outsourcing services is clearly there, and I merely offer an affordable and effective way to fill the need.
- October, November & December found me busy working in my outsourcing business. Training two of my adult children (and my husband) to help me. In addition, I did a bit of public speaking, coaching and teaching – which I love to do!
So here we are, at the dawn of a new year and a new decade. I just posted on the job board at Lynn Terry’s forum, looking for people to hire to help me with my growing business.
I already have speaking engagements lined up for 2010, with more expected as the year progresses.
My husband and I have sat down and created our 2010 goals both personally and professionally. Not only did we write down our goals, but we created action steps to enable us to achieve them.
One huge action step for me was creating an Editorial Calendar for blogging. This was part of the December Challenge in Lynn Terry’s Elite group, and I’ve managed to get my editorial calendar created.
Looking Ahead in 2010
January will bring about the long awaited launch of my Beginning Blog Profits course; which is the follow-up course to Beginner to Blogger.
January will also find me at NAMS3 in Atlanta, Georgia. So the new year is starting off for me with a BANG!… and I expect the rest of the year to rival the success of 2009.
How About You?
So, tell me: how was your 2009? What plans are you putting into action to make 2010 even better?
To YOUR Success,
Traci
P.S. One way to help your business grow & go to the next level is to outsource. Don’t let the technical, or mundane task, side of running a business hold you back.

Traci,
I spent a lot of 2009 trying to start an online business but not really knowing how to start or what to do. Then, like you, I went to NAMS2 in August, and learned exactly what I needed to do.
I have also taken Lynn Terry’s December Elite Groups Challenge. It has helped me to plan out not only my blog, but I have expounded on that challenge to include other aspects of my business and my life.
I am looking forward to 2010 with excitement and anticipation because of the opportunity to start a new year with focus and goals planned out.
May you have a very prosperous and Happy New Year.
I’m excited about 2010 too!!
Are you going to NAMS later this month? Hope to see you again!
